Reporting for Ready Set Learn 2015-16

As described in your 2015-16 Early Years Transfer Under Agreement (TUA) document, please remember that districts are now responsible for reporting about school level activities for Ready, Set, Learn.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no longer a need for public school principals to report to the ministry using the principals' evaluation form.

As stated in a reminder notice to all districts in November 2015, the school district is responsible for reporting about all school level activities for Ready, Set, Learn.  The information that will be collected will include:

  • total numbers of participation for both children and adults (parents/guardians);
  • whether each school hosted or participated in an event;
  • information about the type of event/theme and event costs; and
  • which other programs RSL funding was used to support, and their costs.

The reporting template, along with school level RSL registration data, is being updated. We estimate that district specific templates will be ready by the end of January, 2016.

It is our intention to provide a format that is comprehensive yet simple, and will assists districts to complete the information requested as efficiently as possible. More information will be shared with all early learning contacts as soon as the report templates are available.
